Association of Healthcare Communicators conference 2009

Just thought I’d write a quick blog posting about the Association of Healthcare Communicators – AHC – conference next week – http://www.assochealth.org.uk/Conference2009.html just in case conference presenter ‘The Internationale’ happens to mentions blogs, uses the AHC as a case study, does a blog search for people writing about the AHC, and happens to discover the PWPComms site and hence some welcome free publicity. The Internationale’s social networking presentation is always a decent spectacle so conference delegates may well wish to book for his masterclass.

Exhibition opening night

The 2009 photography exhibition at The Art Organisation in Nottingham opened this week and runs for the next two weeks. Launch night was yesterday evening where assembled guests lined up to enjoy the snacks pictures at the venue in Station Street, Nottingham, just across the road from the train station itself. Entrance is of course free and very handy for all those who have missed connections or are simply lost and want to get out of the May showers. Pictured below are guests viewing the PWP Comms’ offering.

Previous updates have referred to a photography exhibition by the Digital Revolution group. A series of PWP Communications’ landscapes will be displayed at the exhibition, taking place at The Art Organisation in Station Street, Nottingham, from this Monday (May 18) for two weeks. Official launch night is this Wednesday (7.30pm) if you fancy some free wine and food too.

Thanks to sponsors

Tower of strength

13 miles to go

Thank you to all my sponsors who generously donated funds to the British Heart Foundation for last Sunday’s London Marathon and to the BHF themselves for the reception at the post-race party. Starting towards the back of the field, I may not have caught the Kenyans and Ethiopians, but I did overtake Jordan and Peter Andre at two-and-a-half miles. Thanks all.
